Shmot / Exodus 28:1 | And [now separate] and take unto you your brother, Aharon, and his sons with him, from among the B’nei Yisrael, to serve [before] Me [as kohanim]: Aharon, Nadav, Avihu, Elazar, and Isamar, the sons of Aharon.

28:3 | Speak to all who are wise in heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, and have them make Aharon’s garments, to sanctify him to serve [before] Me [as kohein].
28:4 | These are the garments that they shall make: a breastplate, an eiphod, a robe, a checkered undershirt, a turban and a sash-belt. Have them make sacred garments for your brother Aharon, and for his sons, to serve [before] Me [as kohanim].

28:21 | These stones shall have on them the names of the B’nei Yisrael, twelve of them by their names, each one’s name [written in script that is clear like they engrave a signet ring] engraved as on a signet [ring], representing the twelve tribes.

Jelly beans really lend themselves nicely to the Choshen nosh. Each jelly bean is cut in two, to either be used in two places or shared amongst friends. So for each snack, you will only need:
- 1/4 of a fruit leather roll
- 6 jelly beans
- 4 pieces of O-shaped cereal.

Instructions:
- Cut the fruit leather into a square large enough to hold 12 jelly bean halves.

2. Choose jelly beans of the approximate color of the jewels in the Choshen. Cut each in half, and place, cut side down, on the fruit leather. (Note: although you can use scissors, I found that this cracked my jelly beans to retain their “jewel” look, so I used a sharp knife).
3. Place jelly beans on the fruit leather as close as possible (if it matters to you) to the colors of the actual choshen. Place O-shaped cereal on the corners.

Learn, eat, bracha achrona…Yum!
