Exodus  38:21-40:38

The Mishkan and all of its parts are finally completed! Time to put everything in place and light the Menorah!

The Shabbos Stash and Nature’s Nosh this week are almost identical, so I am only making a single post.

Exodus 39:32	And all of the work of building the Tent of Meeting ceased, and the Children of Israel did all that G-d had commanded Moses to have done.	וַתֵּכֶל כׇּל־עֲבֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהֹוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ׃
39:33	And they brought the Tabernacle, the Tent, and all of its boards, tools, vessels, pillars, and frames. …	וַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּן אֶל־מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הָאֹהֶל וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלָיו קְרָסָיו קְרָשָׁיו בְּרִיחָו וְעַמֻּדָיו וַאֲדָנָיו׃
39:37	…The pure candelabra and its lamps, in order, and all of its vessels, and the oil for lighting:	אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה הַטְּהֹרָה אֶת־נֵרֹתֶיהָ נֵרֹת הַמַּעֲרָכָה וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמָּאוֹר׃
39:42	The Children of Israel did all of the work in the way G-d had commanded Moses to have done.	כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהֹוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵת כׇּל־הָעֲבֹדָה׃
39:43	And Moses saw all of the work, and that they had done everything as G-d had commanded, and Moses blessed them. …	וַיַּרְא מֹשֶׁה אֶת־כׇּל־הַמְּלָאכָה וְהִנֵּה עָשׂוּ אֹתָהּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהֹוָה כֵּן עָשׂוּ וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה׃
40:17	And it was, on the first month, on the second year [after the exodus], that the Tabernacle was erected.	וַיְהִי בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הוּקַם הַמִּשְׁכָּן׃
40:24	And [Moses] placed the candelabra in the Tent of Meeting, in the presence of the Table, on the South side of the Tabernacle.	וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד נֹכַח הַשֻּׁלְחָן עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן נֶגְבָּה׃
40:25	And he lit the lamps before G-d, just as G-d had commanded Moses.	וַיַּעַל הַנֵּרֹת לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהֹוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃ {ס}

Ingredients:

5 pretezel sticks

7 yellow, orange, or red items for flames (golden raisins and tangerines (half a section per flame) shown. You can also use jelly beans, cheese, cantaloupe pieces…etc.

Tools: None needed.

Instructions:

1. Snap 3 pretzel sticks as shown.

2. Arrange pretzels such that the center is highest, and the side branches are level with each other.

3. Place flames above!
