| Genesis /Bereishit 13:14 | And G-d said to Avram after he had parted from Lot: lift your eyes and see from the place where you are, to the north and towards the east (Negev), the south and the west (sea): | וַיהֹוָה אָמַר אֶל־אַבְרָם אַחֲרֵי הִפָּרֶד־לוֹט מֵעִמּוֹ שָׂא נָא עֵינֶיךָ וּרְאֵה מִן־הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּה שָׁם צָפֹנָה וָנֶגְבָּה וָקֵדְמָה וָיָמָּה׃ |
| 13:15 | For all the land that you see I will give to your offspring forever. |
| 13:16 | I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth. Just as a person cannot count the dust, in the same way your offspring will not be countable.
| 13:17 | Get up and walk the breadth and width of the land, for I will give it to you.

| 15:1 | After these things, G-d’s words came to Avram in a dream, saying: Do not fear, Avram. I am protecting you. Your reward will be very great.
| 15:2 | And Avram said: L-rd G-d, what could you give me? I Have no children, and Eliezer manages my household (so anything you give me would be wasted).
| 15:3 | And he said as you did not give me children, the manager of my household will inherit from me.
| 15:4 | And then G-d said to him as follows: he will not inherit from you, as your offspring will inherit from you.
| 15:5 | And he took him outside, and said: Look at the sky and count the stars, if you can count them. And he said so will be your offspring.
| 15:6 | And he believed in G-d, and in His righteousness. |
| 15:7 | And He said to him: I am G-d who took you out of Ur Kasdim, to give you this land to inherit.
Ingredients as Shown:
- Sushi rice, preferably not ice-cold
- 1 sheet sushi nori
- many White Sesame Seeds, 2 Black Sesame Seeds, 1 Onion flake (or sub red pepper flake or anything else), OR Everything Bagel Mix.
- 1 Green bean, raw or cooked
- Soy sauce
- Avocado or cucumber (avocado is shown)
Instructions:
FOR AVRAM:
- Wet hands. Roll 2 small balls of rice, one larger, and one smaller. Put the smaller one on top of the larger one.
- Add 2 sesame seed eyes, but put them on TOP, so Avram is looking up.

3. Choose an onion flake (or substitute red pepper flake for a red mouth). Add to Avram’s head. (This photo shows a red pepper flake… final photo shows onion flake.)

4. Using your finger, gently pat on a soy sauce beard.

5. Snip, cut, or bite ends off of the green bean (don’t eat it!), the length arms should be. Then cut two more small pieces for feet.

6. Add the arms, pointed side at the “shoulders”, so they lean into the body. Place the small pieces as “feet.”

FOR THE SKY:
- If you want the stars to stick in place, lightly brush the nori with water or sesame seed oil. It isn’t necessary, though.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds unevenly so that they look like stars and constellations.

3. Cut a piece of avocado or cucumber into the shape you want of the moon. We don’t know what time of month it was, so this is extremely flexible. Add the moon.
