Pomegranate Brach in Bloom

Deuteronomy 8:7	For G-d your G-d will bring you to a good land.  A land of streams, springs, and fountains, both in the valleys and in the hills.	כִּי ה’ אֱל-יךָ מְבִיאֲךָ אֶל־אֶרֶץ טוֹבָה אֶרֶץ נַחֲלֵי מָיִם עֲיָנֹת וּתְהֹמֹת יֹצְאִים בַּבִּקְעָה וּבָהָר׃
8:8	A land of wheat and barley, vine, fig, and pomegranate, a land of olives, oil and honey (dates).	אֶרֶץ חִטָּה וּשְׂעֹרָה וְגֶפֶן וּתְאֵנָה וְרִמּוֹן אֶרֶץ־זֵית שֶׁמֶן וּדְבָשׁ׃

Pomegranate branch in bloom:

Ingredients:

• 1 large pretzel stick
• Green jelly beans to make leaves
• Red or pink sour straws to make flowers

Tools:  Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut green jelly beans in half lengthwise.  Press in pairs onto pretzel stick to form leaves.
2. For each flower, cut 7 pieces of sour straw approximately 1/3” long.  Press 6 of the pieces around a central piece.  Press flower onto pretzel stick.
