Wise-Hearted Women Donating Cloth

Exodus 35:26:And all the wise-hearted women donated cloth they had spunוְכׇל־הַנָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂא לִבָּן אֹתָנָה בְּחׇכְמָה טָווּ אֶת־הָעִזִּים׃

I originally planned to make this project using fruit leather as cloth. But my fruit leather had somehow dried out, as had my raisins and craisins. The only sticky thing I had left was apricots and dates, so that is what I used.

Ingredients as shown:

  • Bear -shaped cookies (I used the Benton’s Mini Bear Honey and Chocolate Honey Grahams that can be found at Aldi’s), see info here
  • 1 Dried (but moist) apricot
  • 1 Date (or more if you are using larger cookies)

Tools:

  • Scissors and/or a small paring knife

Instructions:

  1. Cut the date into slices wide enough to hold up the bear cookie. Wrap around the foot of the cookie.

2. Cut apricot into thin slices.

3. Press apricot slices onto “hands” of bears to form “cloth.” You can skip making them stand, if you prefer, but it’s fun to have them stand!
