About Marshmallows and Cutting Them

 CAUTION: Buy only those with a hechsher, which will be either the special Kosher brands or the vegan brands. “Regular” marshmallows are made with pork gelatin.

BEFORE MAKING ANY CUTTING, DIP SCISSORS INTO POWDERED SUGAR BAG TO PREVENT SCISSORS FROM STICKING. The marshmallow will retain enough stickiness to do what is needed, but otherwise you will not be able to separate it from the scissors.
