Parashat Naso includes the priestly blessing. Though Aharon and his descendants are instructed as to the words to use to bless the Children of Israel, we have taken this as the proper way to bless our own children as well. Cohanim continue to use these words when blessing the congregation. But as the phrasing of the instructions was not limited to the Cohanim (G-d was only speaking to the at the time), we understand that these same words are to be used by parents when blessing their own children. In some congregations the children, as a group, are also blessed using these words.
Note that because G-d gave us the specific words to use, many feel that this particular blessing cannot be translated and still be valid.
