| Bereishit / Genesis 1:9 | And G-d said: The water will gather under the sky to a single place, and reveal the dry area. And it happened. | וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹ-קים יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל־מָקוֹם אֶחָד וְתֵרָאֶה הַיַּבָּשָׁה וַיְהִי־כֵן׃ |
| 1:10 | And G-d called the dry area “Land” and He called the gathered water “Seas,” and G-d saw that it was good. | וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹ-קים לַיַּבָּשָׁה אֶרֶץ וּלְמִקְוֵה הַמַּיִם קָרָא יַמִּים וַיַּרְא אֱלֹ-קים כִּי־טוֹב׃ |
| 1:11 | And G-d said: The land shall grow seeded grass, and trees that grow all sorts of fruit, and it happened. | וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹ-קים תַּדְשֵׁא הָאָרֶץ דֶּשֶׁא עֵשֶׂב מַזְרִיעַ זֶרַע עֵץ פְּרִי עֹשֶׂה פְּרִי לְמִינוֹ אֲשֶׁר זַרְעוֹ־בוֹ עַל־הָאָרֶץ וַיְהִי־כֵן׃ |
| 1:12 | And the Earth sprouted grass that made all sorts of seeds, and trees that grew all sorts of fruits, and G-d saw that it was good. | וַתּוֹצֵא הָאָרֶץ דֶּשֶׁא עֵשֶׂב מַזְרִיעַ זֶרַע לְמִינֵהוּ וְעֵץ עֹשֶׂה־פְּרִי אֲשֶׁר זַרְעוֹ־בוֹ לְמִינֵהוּ וַיַּרְא אֱלֹ-קים כִּי־טוֹב׃ |
| 1:13 | And it was night, and it was day, [thus ended] the third day. | וַיְהִי־עֶרֶב וַיְהִי־בֹקֶר יוֹם שְׁלִישִׁי׃ |
Ingredients as shown:
- 1 large marshmallow
- Blue and green colored sugar
Tools:
- 2 small bowls
- 1 pair scissors
Instructions:
- Pour a bit of the blue colored sugar into one bowl, and a bit of the green into the other.
2. Cut the edges off of much of the marshmallow to make a rough round shape and expose the sticky interior. Press parts of the cut marshmallow into each bowl to make some green “land” and some blue “water.”
Et voila’!
