Vayikra

Parashat Vayikra begins the book of Vayikra. The Greeks called the book Leviticus, as its focus is on what is actually done within the Mishkan (tabernacle, or movable temple), which is the responsibility of the Levi tribe (and its subset, the descendants of Aaron, the Kohanim).
